The new BluesMix album “Flat Nine” is now finally finished and will be released on 13th February.

The album was recorded last year at the fabulous Cowshed studio in north London and contains 11 original tracks.

Earl Green and the Right Time’s Live CD “Live at Bronte Blues Club” Received 10/10 in the November issue of Blues in Britain.

This album was recorded at Bronte Blues Club earlier this year.

• 3rd July – Blues on the Meadow - Nr Aldermaston, Berkshire

I will be playing this one day festival with Earl Green & The Right Time. This Festival has got a great line up this year including: Connie Lush & Blues Shouter, The Spikedrivers, Ben Poole Band & Bad Penny. For more info about this great little festival check out: http://www.bluesonthemeadow.com

• 16 – 18 July Upton Blues Festival, Upton

Again this is with Earl Green & The Right Time and we will be headlining one of the stages  there on the 18th. Really excited about this one as the festival in previous years has had ~20,000 visitors over the three days. So it’s a fairly big one! This festival also sports a great line up with the likes of The Tommy Allen Band & Alan Nimmo. For more info check out http://www.uptonbluesfestival.org.uk

• 13 – 14th August – LoungeFest – Nr Alton, Hampshire

Playing this festival with Five Field Holler on the 14th August. This festival is staged in 13 acres of Hampshire countryside next to The Departure Lounge Cafe on the outskirts of Alton. For more info check out http://www.loungefest.co.uk

• 20 – 22 August The 10th Bentworth Blues Festival, Hampshire

Will be Playing this festival with both Earl Green & The Right Time (21st) and Five Field Holler (22nd). This festival is the highlight of the festival season for me having played it the last five years or so with Five Field Holler. As per usual the lineup is great (Trafficker, The Rik Martin Band, Northsyde, Tim Hain etc.) and I’m sure the atmosphere will be too! For more info check out http://www.star-inn.com/blues2010.htm

• 3 – 6 September 2010 – The Big Blues Festival – Pontin’s Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park, Prestatyn, North Wales

Will be playing this festival with the Jackson-Holler Band on the 5th September. This Festival boasts an incredible lineup including Sherman Robertson (USA), Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges (USA), Aynsley Lister, Nicky Moore’s Blues Corporation, Trafficker, Chix wiv Pix etc. For more info check out the leaflet below.

• 8 – 11 October The Isle of Wight Blues Weekend

Playing this festival with Earl Green & The Right Time (8th & 9th). As with the prestatyn festival (also hosted by Boogaloo Promotions) the lineup is great and includes: Connie Lush & Blues Shouter, Jerimiah Marques & The Blue Aces, Sean Webster Band, Cryin’ Out Loud and The Rik Martin Band.
